By 'hot' I mean in the 80s, not great fishing. Since back on the Front Range and noticing flows had been finally increased to 185cfs on the Arkansas tailwater, I headed down. I arrived at 10:20am but earlier would have been better as the water was warm to start and became almost hot. I caught of number of smallish fish including a 17" brown and some 15" rainbows. I didn't see a lot of fish so made sure my Perdigon and friends rig was clicking the bottom. The weight worked as did Jimi's Ax and the DCEZWD40. I left early at 1:30pm when things really slowed. Net net, the PT isn't ready for prime time yet.
