RNMP - Hiking To And Fishing @ The Loch 11Sep18

Yeah, it was a 9-11 commemorative and all the colors were blazing in the NP... it still amazes me that we can be attacked on home turf. Kala and I took 6+mi/1Kft hike to Loch Lake from Glacier Gorge TH. Unfortunately we missed parking chances at Bear Lk and had to use the shuttle lot - this added an hour to each of our start time and return time. I toted fishing gear despite my having rarely had "luck" at the Loch. This time I read my notes from prior outings and took plenty of terrestrials and it was ants that fooled the nice cutthroats I caught this time - woohoo. I caught several but just have a pic for one, a bit of a skinny one as the others were fatter. The weather was great but a bit of wind whipped through. A gr8 hike with fine fall colors and a nice outing with my gal. Back at camp we did fajitas on the skottle - awesome.
