Fishing 10 Mile Ck With Kala 13Aug20

Kala & I fished a couple sections of 10 Mile Creek today: Officer;s Gulch in the steep section and adjacent the ponds near Copper. I caught quite a few fish in each spot, like those shown, but Kala was unfortunately skunked. Flows and weather were great. Other fishermen were present in each location. I caught some fish on each of a #14 peacock stimi, a #14 olive chubby, a #16 green & orange BH soft hackle caddis, a #16 GRHE, and a #20 Barr's PMD nymph. Kala was wielding the drc 2wt so I took the GLoomis 3wt. I missed the triple when a nice cutthroat got off - !0 Mile is the spot where even a quad is very possible as there are brookies too. Of course we finished off at ORB with papaya salad, tuna poke and some nice IPAs.
