Adjusting The JBLX3 Boombox And Some Dehd & Dead Stuff 10Oct22

I was able to make pro measurements and adjustments to the frequency response delivered by  my JBLX3 boombox today. I used REW on macOS and my umik-1 measurement mic to first ascertain the box's naked response - holy cow this thing is very good; it's very near flat and near my desired house curve! I needed only small tweaks via the Flacbox EQ on the iPhone (or on Onkyo X1) to dial in the open air sound. I was pleased with the subtle difference.

I both enjoyed Dehd and made some stuff dead recently too. Dehd sounded great on the Nest Theater whether from the hefty new swirl pink limited edition vinyl from Fat Possum, or direct via the 96KHz/24bit FLAC files, or via YouTube.
While the sunsets in Summit were keen over Peak One, I did have to make Mon Ami "dead" with decommissioning the sails. And, once back in COS, I made another tree dead to meet today's fire department chipping team... that's the 3rd nice evergreen this year down due to drought.
