Kala & I stayed an extra day in Moab's killer fall weather to hike out to The Titan above the Colorado River valley. I was a smidge dubious on a SE Utah hike without an arch, 'cause many memorable jaunts here have included one. Nonetheless it was a great 6 mi 1250 ft elevation desert clamber out and back to a spectacular overlook of the Colorado River on one side and a desert wonderland on the other... the Fisher Towers hike is worthy despite some moderate climbing moves required. We rolled 25 miles out of Moab to the plentiful parking at the TH. We caught the Titan and got the pic from our acquaintance Rob (of Summit CO, CO) who we met on the trail. We saw a climbing team 3/4 of the way out on the outer side of the Fisher Towers, climbing and filming with drone on a keen ascent. Great time again on the trails of the BLM in SE Utah. It wouldn't be a trip to Moab without 5% beer at the Moab Brewery... we had Johnny's a good burger at the bar.
