Celebrating Honors 18May19

Kala, Matt & I joined the CU Denver Chemistry department annual celebration where Alexa graduated and received outstanding Chem student honors! We followed up with an excellent lunch @ Yak & Yeti, a great Indian/Nepalese restaurant with integrated micro-brewery Spice Trade!  Then we stopped @ MLC's work site (in the shadow of Coors Field - cool small team vibe), and followed that with an evening of brewery hopping in Denver to celebrate. We hit many spots including: Falling Rock Taphouse (where Pliny is always on tap - their motto is "no crap on tap"), Jagged Mountain (CO outdoor sport themed), Black Shirt Brewing, Great Divide (enjoyed the awesome Experimental Hazy DIPA), and Grist Brewing. Awesome night with the kids recognizing Alexa's and their mutual gains, as they just signed a lease for their own space in Denver!
