Spooked The Big Browns @ Tomahawk 07Oct19

I fished the Middle Fk of the S Platte @ Tomahawk today - I was hoping to catch some of the migrating-spawning browns on my way back to COS. Yeah - I saw a couple >2ft long and scared the shit out of them with my Chernobyl Ant,  grasshoppers and heavy feet. Super low fall flows ~30cfs had all the fish hugging' the undercut banks; nobody was in the riffles or runs and the water was pretty chilly. I caught nothing underneath but got turnovers from some of the bigs on my hopper and I fooled some cutbows. Spectacular fall weather day.
