I am frequently looking to improve my ties to more accurate or more rugged. My Purple Reign midge tie is a go to purple for the Ark and has been described prior HERE. It worked well recently in 11 Mile Canyon as well. Today I modified the tie a smidge to hopefully more accurately depict the emerging wings of a midge. To so do I acquired another Glamour Madera variant which is much thinner. I used to halve the "standard" German flashy thread but today I am using the smaller one and doubling up to create two wings, by tying in a loop as shown. This variant tie is not much different than the original so if you don't wanna buy the small flashy thread just halve the original fat stuff for tiny midge ties.
Proper tying techniques are always aided with a fine brew. I found a very nice triple dry-hopped collaboration with Great Nation from one of my fav brewers, Cerebral Brewing. Canopy Cover is recommended but rare.
I am a fan of certain music videos and often find them on YouTube. It's amazing that in today's streaming music world that it takes 3572 individual streams for the artist's posted material to YT to make $1. And, often the artist is using a publisher to assure a righteous content ID is associated with the music and is therefore splitting the take with that publisher, and likely others. Taylor Swift's most popular YT posting is "Style" with 700M views for which she and her "supply chain" grabbed ~$200K from Google over it's lifetime. All other artists obviously earn far less than that - many vids I reference are in the 10K view range. Phoebe's #1 Motion Sickness has 10M views and Reina del Cid's top posting garnered 4M, but Molly Tuttle's top got 250K views and the Mysterines' #1 was 100K. Whew it's a steep pyramid.
