Recon On The PT 08Apr19

It was a very odd recon outing today on the PT. Weather was glorious; flows were perfect at ~200 cfs; bugs were in the air. The hooking was great but the landing was not. I was 1 for 10 over the 4 hours on the river at the nature center! I was into big fish often on both BWOs (which were coming off a bit) and brown or grey midges (which were present too) but I couldn't close the deals. Sheesh. Action is heating up as the rainbow-cutthroat spawn winds down (though I did still see a number of fish on the redds).
