After a banner day on 11 Mile I headed to Summit; heck, I was 1/2 way there - the PT flows are still way up and the Blue River is spot on for some heavy fish so Summit seemed better - plus, closing day at Keystone is Easter Sunday. On arrival in Summit I secured 3 slices of 'za at Whole Foods and headed to Outer Range for "dinner." I enjoyed a couple of the DIPAs and my pizza when low and behold a bluegrass band shows up. They were excellent and I learned OR hosts live tunes every Wed & Thu evenings. They can't do weekends as they become too crowded! Plus, if 4 DIPA varieties and live music weren't enough... I observed the local fly tying club score a reserved table and discounts - whoa! I don't know if I can join them unless big magnifying lenses are allowed. :) I may have been misguided in supporting CV and Mrs CV in their looks into Chaffe - Summit is so cool.
