Frankie Cosmos & Others 06Apr18
Kala & I and the Brantleys went to a concert at Black Sheep tonight. We saw Ashley Koett, a Boulder indie rocker who was capable - her 1st album is about to drop. We saw Lomelda who was categorically terrible - she couldn't play well and sang poorly. And we saw headliner Frankie Cosmos (Greta Kline and her band) who was good with decent songs but Greta's voice is odd. She often seemed to be singing in female falsetto, which is really unusual - and she altered the cadence in many songs. She and her bandmate & beau, David Maine, both play Danelectro guitars - unusual.
