High & Lonesome CowPunk and New RIIPA 04Apr18
Some now call it Alt-Country or Americana but combining the sentiments and anger of punk directly with country is really Cowpunk; they may be Outlaw Country really. Sarah Shook & the Disarmers have a new album "Years" and the early listening suggests its every bit as good as their first - which is really saying something as "Sidelong" is very good. It's streaming free if you are Amazon Prime. Some of this stuff is dark and Shook is an intense lookin' lady; who knew someone could sing so much about whiskey. The new album drops this week. Take a listen; know too she's coming to Denver in mid-July. Really good.
Too, the latest RIIPA (rotating imperial IPA) Citradamus is a dank and tasty brew.
