Midnight Daylight - New LED Garage 03Mar20

Before Kala arrived again at the Nest I upgraded all the lighting in the garage to LEDs. After studying how to replace the fluorescent tubes with LEDs by rewiring to bypass the ballasts and, in some cases, replacing the tombstones I decided it was simpler and still cost effective to just replace the entire set of fixtures. I had spots for six fixtures as a result of three double outlets on the ceiling all controlled by a single switch. I got a pack of 6 Hyperikon LED shop light fixtures for just $120 on Amazon. I removed and tossed the existing fixtures and lamps and put the LEDs up in a jiffy. It's now like mid-day in there, even at midnight.
