Nice 'Bows On The Rodfather Brookie In 11 Mile @ Tunnels During Drop By To Summit 12Aug24

I was about noon into 11 Mile canyon and fished the tunnels section of the 11 Mile section of the SPlatte. Flows were a gorgeous ~200cfs or so and I saw bugsign on arrival despite the heat. I tied on a top chubby and then a caddis and PMD nymph. The later grabbed some small browns but it was kindof hot and the fishing kindof slow. I waited it out and at the top of the pass I started getting big fish on the chubby as a T-storm was assembling. One big brown broke me off under a rock but I got a couple nice cutbows before that, including a strong male 20 incher. The cam must be covered in water as the images are hazy ~ but yeah, you can make out the fish.
